"Timothy Craig has the voice, sound and charisma of a future star",
"Craig has a voice that cuts forcefully through the instrumentation with just the right blend of smoothness and roughness", "They play off each other with thrashing chords and gunfire rhythms, much to the delight of the audience".
Timothy Craig was born in Wisconsin and grew up in Southwest, Florida.
His passion for music undoubtedly stems from his father Vilas Craig, who put himself through college writing songs and fronting a five-piece Rock n' Roll band in the 60's. Surrounded by vintage guitars, classic drum kits and tube amplifiers, Timothy formed his first rock band in seventh grade. The CT2 Express played lots of gigs, though never outside his living room.

While in college in Gainesville
Florida, inspired by Tom Petty,
John Mellencamp, Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger and Bryan Adams, Timothy began writing his own songs. Realizing that the closest music biz town was Nashville, he moved there, put a band together and spent years playing his original Roots Rock / Americana brand of music in clubs and festivals including: Summer Lights, Fall Fest at the
Belle Meade Mansion, Bellevue Music Fest, opening for Cheap Trick at Nashville's Riverfest and playing several shows at the Tennessee State Women's Prison! Timothy also established his own record label
Ball & Chain Entertainment and released his first EP of original music Steps Toward the Door. A few years later he released two full length albums Rip, Roll & Ride and State Line.

State Line was produced by Bill Cuomo. Bill is best known for his keyboard playing on several big records in Los Angeles, acts like
Don Henley, Whitesnake and REO Speedwagon, just to mention a few. Bill also co-wrote "Oh Sherrie" recorded by Steve Perry of Journey. Bill took Timothy in his Nashville studio and recorded ten of Timothy's songs to shop around to labels. The album caught the attention of Bill Aucoin in Miami. Aucoin, best known for discovering the band KISS and managed the group for nearly a decade. Aucoin also managed Billy Idol and several other acts. Aucoin was forming his own record label Splash Records in Miami to be a joint effort with Sire Records in New York. Aucoin flew to Nashville to see Timothy and his band live at a private showcase and then flew out again to Los Angeles a few months later to catch Timothy's band rehearsals in North Hollywood. Timothy's album State Line was going to be Aucoin's first project / flagship act signed to the label. Aucoin battled cancer and passed away before pulling Splash Records together. The album was released by Timothy and Bill Cuomo in 1999.

January 2000, Timothy moved to
Los Angeles, put a new band together and sang his songs in all the legendary LA clubs like the Whisky a Go Go, The Roxy, Club Lingerie and the Hard Rock Cafes. Timothy also performed between the Hollywood All-Star baseball game and the
Los Angeles Angels baseball game at the Angels stadium. In 2004, he released his fourth CD entitled,
Grand References. After landing various acting gigs, including the role of Phil Everly of The Everly Brothers on the NBC television series 'American Dreams' and the role of a police officer alongside Emmy Award winning Kim Delaney on an episode
of the ABC television series
'NYPD Blue', Timothy joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG / AFTRA).

September 2005, Timothy moved
back to Nashville and spent time
co-writing songs for another album called You Got It, released in 2008. One of the co-writers is friend Billy Falcon. Billy is best known for several co-writes on several Bon Jovi albums, including their most recent projects. Visit the Song Page to learn more about Timothy's Song Credits. Timothy was invited to perform with his band at the Star Spangled Festival in Wisconsin (2009) and several CMA Music Festivals in Nashville. Timothy also became an Artist / Voting Member of the Recording Academy - The Grammys.

In 2009, being an avid Florida Gator fan, Timothy wrote and released his Gator Fight Song called "Not Done Yet". The song quickly took off around campus in Gainesville and was featured in the Gainesville Sun newspaper along with other Florida newspapers. He performed the song live on 'Fox News TV Morning Blend' and was interviewed by 'WINK TV', both in Ft. Myers, Florida. In 2011,
The University of Florida radio station invited Timothy to perform
"Not Done Yet" at the Orange & Blue spring game in Gainesville. The event was broadcast live on both Country 103.7 - The Gator and WRUF AM Sports Radio 850. In 2013, The Post Game and Yahoo Sports based in Los Angeles ran segments on college football fans and their loyalty.
